Bio

I am Italian, born and raised in small-town Southern Italy, close to medieval castles and archeological sites. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Bari (Italy) with a Master's Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures. I majored in British/North American and German Languages and Literatures with a final thesis on “The Massification Of The Disney Entertainment: Evolution Of The Entertainment Formulas Throughout The 20th Century America’s Social And Cultural Changes”.  My area of expertise are Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Philosophy of Language, Historical Linguistics, Didactics of Language, Germanic Philology, and Communications. I  also became a TEFL (Teaching of English as a Foreign Language) Certified Teacher during my relocation in Shanghai, China. I write and illustrate my own children books for my family’s enjoyment. Visual arts, traveling, and sight-seeing are my favorite hobbies: the only lands I haven't touched yet are the Artica/Antartica and Oceania. I am very protective of my books, so whatever I am reading follows me around the house…with two little kids you never know when and where a crayon may leave a mark. An entertainment columnist for women's magazine Miss A™, I currently live in Pennsylvania with my family.
